Well hello June! What a month May was and I'm ready to get sharing all the beautiful stationery that's been leaving HQ recently, so get ready for some newness, gorgeous designs and a whole lot of posting! It's been quite the first half of 2026 but as always the show has went on behind the scenes and I'm honestly just so grateful to the absolutely amazing clients we have. There's been days where I've not quite felt like myself but fun meetings and exciting planning has given me just what I needed, so thank you for that!

I have a crazy busy few weeks ahead with so many orders being made and all on time for a manic July full of weddings but I'm ready and raring to go! The showroom is tidy but the making studio is quite literally covered 🤣 but organised chaos at least!

Summer is here (someone tell the weather man) so let's get through wedding season! xx

Well firstly I do apologise for the radio silence on social media - I actually think I had been better the first half of the year with posting more but the last 6 weeks have been a little turbulent behind the scenes, with some of my lovely couples aware of some personal reasons for my quietness and I am so appreciative of them all.

That being said, whilst being there for family I've also been quietly working away on all our beautiful weddings and keeping up to date with everything that needs to be done - so all the important stuff has been managed as always.

Back into full swing this week with appointments galore, final meetings, samples, on the days and prepping for some absolutely gorgeous invites being issued month and as always I am forever grateful that I have the best customers.

Like all small business owners sometimes life doesn't always go to plan but somehow we soldier on, but we do also need to remember to be kind to ourselves and celebrate the small wins, whilst also not being too hard on ourselves when things don't go exactly to plan. We are only human after all xx

April brings lots of things to Dollybird and that includes its 14th birthday! Who knew back in 2012 when we first started that we'd be celebrating 14 years in the Scottish Wedding industry.

It's an honour being part of such a wonderful industry, amongst unbelievable suppliers and working with the most amazing couples and I am forever grateful to each and every one of you who puts your faith and trust in me ❤️

Well hello April!

I swear we blink and months pass - how is that 1/4 of the year done already!

Anyways, a very exciting month ahead with so much to share, even more to design and not to mention some beautiful weddings to be part of and a bag full of beautiful samples to get delivered ❤️

There's not enough hours in the day at the moment between work and home but juggling is what I do best so if you're waiting on a response please just give me a little nudge.

Don't forget the diary is open and we do have some dates left this year but 2027 & 2028 diaries are open and key dates being filled so just get in touch and we'll get an appointment booked in at the showroom for you xx

Another beautiful March wedding to share and this was a little different from our usual designs, with a gorgeous floral print incorporated to the fronts of all the lovely couples stationery.

From their day and evening Invites, we combined white glitter with floral detail to create this elegant design and used this to create their mirrored table plan, table names and place-cards.

A perfect example of matching all items from start to finish!

Happy International Women's Day!

In a world where there is so much negativity, I am so lucky to be surrounded by women who build each other up, support each other, compliment each other and forever encourage each other.

From the amazing women in my family, to the fabulous women I have as friends, to those I have met within this wonderful industry and I'm now lucky to call friends (thats suppliers, customers and their families), this day is for you all!

Wee throwback to last March for this beautiful and classic navy & white on the day set which matched the couples invitations perfectly!

Navy ribbon with brooch detail complimented the white glitter on all of the items including a mirrored table plan, table names, memory table sign and hanging memory chair tags.
