If you want to know more about us, here is our story. We are Andrew and Scott. We had our civil partnership in 2013, and – although we had an amazing day! – we were disappointed by the reaction of several businesses when trying to arrange our special event. Venue managers appeared awkward and uncertain, with no clear insight or experience of how same-sex celebrations fit in to their generic weddin

g plan; constant references to the `bride and groom’; little understanding of how elements of tradition can effectively be incorporated into a same-sex event to balance the experience; who does speeches?; do we have a `hag or a sten’ do and where would we go? (as opposed to a stag or hen!) ; choosing of rings; honeymoon…bands…..money…!?! The planning of a civil partnerships, wedding or commitment can seem like a huge undertaking and expense, but it doesn’t need to be. We promise to listen to you from our first contact, to ensure we plan an event that is memorable, appropriate and affordable.
