Many of you are being contacted by a firm of solicitors called New South Law. I have spoken to the firm and they confirmed they were given your data by either Th Resort Group or an offshoot called Sua Casa. it is not for us to comment on what the relationship is between TRG and New South Law and why they passed your information to them. I understand they are promoting their claims management service and offering to close down SIPPs. If we receive any solid information on this we will be happy to share.

I wanted to let you know what the process will be now for Rowanmoor SIPP cases. the FSCS will receive paperwork and investigative information from the FOS and other sources. Their legal team will assess this information and decide if Rowanmoor failed in its responsibilities to its clients. Given the work already done by FOS and the evidence provided on our successful cases we see no reason for cases not to progress with the FSCS. We of course cannot guarantee this. Currently we are working 7 days per week to get our cases submitted. Simply you have waited so long for some form of justice we want to make sure you are at the head of the queue.

Rowanmoor Personal Pensions are in administration. This means cases currently with the Financial Ombudsman Service will now be moved to the FSCS. Unfortunately yet another company seemingly allowed to walk away from its obligations to customers with not a word from the regulators despite them having overseen the whole process.
All of our clients by now will have received an update from us and over the next two weeks or so we will be netting new paperwork out to everyone affected.
We have meetings lined up with the Financial Ombudsman Service and the FSCS to get more detail on events and expectations on getting cases through to conclusion. we will keep you up to date over the coming weeks.
