Our funeral home is located on the edge of Saltwell Park in Gateshead. We are here to help

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Terry on 16th August 2026

A dearly loved lady who will be forever loved, cherished, and missed by all who knew her.

Family and friends are warmly invited to attend her funeral service on Thursday 3rd September 2026, 1:00 pm at Saltwell Crematorium.

Family flowers only. Donations, if desired, are gratefully welcomed in memory of Terry to the St Bede's Unit.

Following the service, everyone is warmly invited to join the family at The Stonetrough Pub for refreshments and to share memories of Terry's life.

Paul peacefully passed away at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital, on 5th August 2026, aged 59 years, surrounded by care and love.

Paul was a much loved son of the late George and Rita, amazing brother to Sue and the late John, and special uncle to Ryan and Reece.

He will be remembered for his kindness, warmth, sense of humour and the happiness he brought to those around him.

His loss will be deeply felt by all who knew and loved him, but the memories he leaves behind will be treasured forever.

A service to celebrate Paul's life will take place at Saltwell Crematorium on Tuesday 25th August 2025 at 12.00pm.

Please wear a splash of red in honour of his fond times as a Red Coat at Butlins! Paul would love having all this fuss over him.

Family and friends are warmly invited to attend for refreshments after the service at Leam Lane Social Club.

Flowers are welcome and to be sent directly to Regent Funeral Services. Donations in memory of Paul are welcomed, if desired, and made to the Stroke Association.

It is with great sadness we announce that Ruth passed away at Alexandra House on 31st July 2026, aged 94 years.

Ruth, the much-loved mother of Joanne and Justin. Loving sister to Derek. Devoted grandmother to the wonderful Rachel and Ben.

A celebration of Ruth’s life will be held at Saltwell Crematorium on Thursday 13th August 2026 at 1:45pm.

Family Flowers only please.

Donations in lieu of flowers can be made to the Northeast Air Ambulance.
