Our funeral home is located on the edge of Saltwell Park in Gateshead. We are here to help

It is with great sadness we announce Ronnie passed away on 21st May 2026, aged 79 years.

Ronnie, the much-loved Dad of Ian, Kevin & Susan and beloved Brother of Billy, Flo and Beryl.

Please gather for the funeral service to celebrate Ronnie’s life at Saltwell Crematorium, on Wednesday 10th June 2026, at 10:30am.

Family flowers only please.

Donations in lieu of flowers can be made to the Sir Bobby Robson Foundation.

After the service, family and friends are warmly invited to take a short walk to the Nine Pins Pub to continue the celebration of Ronnie’s life.

'I would just like to say a huge thank you to the team for the care of my grandma and her funeral. The level of respect for her was beautiful and for us as her family too. David and Natalya went above and beyond for us, checking in on us just because they wanted to, not because they had to.
The day after the funeral when I went to pick up her flowers from the Crematorium- they were missing. Although this had no connection to Regent at all, David and Natalya immediately stopped what they were doing to help us see if we could find them, and offered us support. This has meant an incredible amount to us as a family and we are so grateful. I couldn’t thank you all enough'

'Natalya and Dave, from the beginning of this awful stage of our lives, you both stepped in with care, compassion and kindness.
This, we will never forget and it's hard to explain in words how much we appreciate everything. Yous went above and beyond! The warmth you both surrounded us with and the care you give our little boy, everything really.... You both made this horrible time a bit smoother for us to get through. So this is just a small thank you, as sometimes there aren't any words'.

'To everyone at Regent, we would like to thank you for all your support, kindness, and dedication you gave to our mam. We feel incredibly lucky that our mam was looked after so well. Her hair and make-up was perfect which we know she would be happy with, which would be a huge compliment as she was very fussy!
Dave, you were compassionate from the very minute you came to the house and kept us up to date with everything. The service on the day was also amazing and we know mam would have loved it! especially as you ordered sunshine! From the bottom of our hearts, thanks a million!'
