NEFirst CU encourages saving and offers low cost loans to members. Anyone in Northumberland can join Anyone living or working in Northumberland can join NCUL.

By saving regularly, you can qualify for low cost loans without the need for a credit check - and by continuing to save, repaying loans and building up your savings - you can qualify for steadily larger loans up to £3000 repayable over up to 24 months. Interest is 1.25% per month on the outstanding balance (16.1% APR) and there is no penalty for early repayment.
