Not every networking event happens in a boardroom... 🏇

This weekend, DEREK RAY is swapping the office for the polo field as he heads to the Asia Cup Polo Day Party, joined by Georgia-May Bradley.

Building relationships is a huge part of what we do at BGi.uk, and sometimes the best conversations happen away from desks, emails and meeting rooms. After all, business is about people and people tend to connect a little easier with a glass in hand and world-class polo on the pitch!

We're looking forward to a fantastic day of sport, networking, and hopefully some sunshine. 🌞

Help us support Jade & Tyrun representing us for the Charity Skydive with Academy of Physical Medicine Limited

🚨 WE ARE JUMPING OUT OF A PLANE!🚨

On 25th July, me & my brother Ty will be taking on a charity skydive to raise money for an amazing cause whilst representing BGi.uk and Academy of Physical Medicine Limited

The idea came about after I volunteered to do it for work following one too many Proseccos and a complete inability to keep my mouth shut! 🍾

I'm not ashamed to admit that I'm absolutely crapping myself, BUT, there's no backing out now!

We're doing this to raise money for an amazing cause - Medical Detection Dogs, so if you'd like to support us, we'd be incredibly grateful for any donation.

What a fantastic couple of days at Elevate – the B2B event of physical activity!

We've had some great conversations, made valuable new connections, caught up with familiar faces and even managed to squeeze in a bit of fun along the way.

Events like this are a great reminder of how important relationships are in business and how much can be achieved when people come together to share ideas, experiences and the occasional drink. 🍺

A huge thank you to everyone who stopped by to chat with the BGi.uk team.

It has been a pleasure to have shared a stand with the wonderful girls Joni Harding & Bethan Laker and the amazing team at Splash About International Ltd.

We will soon be heading home with new contacts, fresh opportunities and sore feet from all the networking!

Simon recently enjoyed a visit to London with Chaucer/Lonham, making the most of the capital's rich insurance heritage.

Highlights included the historic Leadenhall Market, a well-known meeting place for insurance professionals, followed by a visit to the iconic Lloyd's of London building - a true cornerstone of the global insurance market.

We know insurance is business, but that doesn't mean it can't come with a little pleasure too right?

BGi.uk is proud to be working alongside SEN UK Swimming to encourage swimming teachers to complete the STA (Swimming Teachers' Association) Award in Aquatic Teaching – Disability Swimming qualification.

Upon completion, teachers can be included on SEN UK Swimming's dedicated directory of qualified SEN swimming instructors.
