FARM WORKER POSITION

Exciting new job opportunity on an organic and free range poultry farm, Newton St Cyres.
They are looking for a full time farm worker to take up a position. The role includes animal husbandry and using modern farm machinery. Must be able to drive a tractor and ATV, telehandler experience preferable. Must be able to work within a team and independently.
The farm also has a commercial apple orchard which requires maintenance and annual harvest.
Accommodation may be available in future for the right person.

RPA is now open for applications for their Sustainable Farming Incentive Expanded Offer 2024. This new version of the scheme has over 100 actions for farmers to sign up to. Anyone with management control of land, whether land owners or tenants, is eligible to apply. Examples of actions as part of this scheme are herbal leys, low input grassland, watercourse management, agroforestry, arable inputs and many more!
