Mortgage jargon doesn’t need to be complicated. 🏡

LTV means Loan to Value.

If you’re buying a home for £200,000 with a £20,000 deposit, you’d need to borrow £180,000.

That means your mortgage would be 90% LTV.

Why does it matter? Your LTV can affect the mortgage products and rates that may be available to you.

Sometimes the industry makes simple things sound complicated.

As we come to the end of the summer, kids will be going back to school, things will start to feel a bit more normal and we will hear the phrase “glad to get back to routine” which we all love!
