Recently I’ve started listening to audiobooks on my dog walks. The latest book I listened to was by the wonderful Rhona Morrison Author.

A big part of my job is helping clients plan for their future. Sadly for some, the future is sometimes not as they planned and we are there to support and help during the difficult times.

This book by Rhona is a great read for those who are facing a difficult time and a reminder that “if life gives you lemons, make lemonade”!

Final financial wellbeing tip for the longest month that is January!

I've had a few conversations with friends and clients on impulse buying - we are all guilty of it. It makes us feel better but only for a short while. Financial security will make you feel better for a much longer time!

So the next time you are tempted by something you perhaps don't really need and before you click on apple pay or tap the card machine - wait 24 hours. You might find you don't really need it after all.

Do you promise yourself every month that you're going to save a certain amount of your salary / income? And sometimes, going back to being honest with yourself, you don't save anything?

Set up a standing order and you don't need to even think about it. It just becomes part of your monthly outgoings and before you know it, you've got a nice amount in your savings account!
