Well Done Jess!

A quick post to celebrate the work of Jessica Hill, who, despite her hard work in our HR department, finds time to volunteer with Free Cakes for Kids Edinburgh Free Cakes For Kids UK

This brilliant charity allows keen bakers to produce cakes for children who would not normally receive a birthday cake.

Each month, the bakers are given a brief and this one was pretty daunting...... 'Create a cake for a 5-year-old female, either unicorn or clown themed'.

Well....what a result! This beautiful cake was the talk of the street, and Mum was delighted!

Well done Jess! We're proud of you!

Fantastic to see two of our Senior Mortgage Processing Experts, Dylan Fagan and Aidan Tait, complete their Leadership Training program today.

This program covers many aspects of leadership, providing a solid skills foundation to build on, including - Questioning Techniques, Effective Coaching and 1:1’s, Feedback Models, Leadership Styles, Performance Management and Self Awareness of Behaviour.

Each session is covered separately, allowing time for the candidate to implement their learning and further enhance their development. This then culminates in a presentation to our Directors, giving them an opportunity to put into practice their delivery skills.

We are committed to investing in the future leaders of our business and the Leadership Program is a perfect example of this.

Welcome to the team guys!

A big welcome to Abbie and Steven who have recently joined us...

Abbie joins as a Mortgage & Protection Adviser having previously worked for Natwest where she gained experience in mortgage underwriting and advising. Abbie’s interests outside of work include traveling, fashion, and going to the gym.

Steven Wilson begins his MAB career in our customer relations team and will work towards becoming a fully-fledged Mortgage Adviser. He brings solid customer-driven experience, having worked in the motor trade for years.
