Hearing directly from the very top of Halifax Intermediaries, alongside national account managers and directors, made it a really valuable and insightful day 💡

There was plenty covered, from how AI is shaping the future of our industry 🤖 to the recent volatility in the mortgage market and what the economic outlook could look like for the rest of 2026 📊

We also got a great look behind the scenes at Halifax, with some exciting improvements and tech developments in the pipeline 🚀

Today, the team from Your Next Step attended the Annual Mortgage Advisor Event at The Engine Works in Glasgow. It was a fantastic opportunity to connect with brokers, lenders, and industry leaders, and hear valuable insights on the mortgage market outlook for 2026.

A highlight was seeing Ally from our network partners, The Lending Channel, leading a Q&A. He’s always an inspiring individual, and it’s great to hear his perspective 💡

The discussions were timely, especially in light of recent global developments. Oh, and the food was excellent, the fried chicken was a standout! 🍗
