TEAMWORK MAKES THE DREAM WORK
I'd like to talk about why having the right people in your team is the most important thing when it comes to building your property portfolio. Now, unless you are the most incredibly multi-skilled person, there's no way that you're going to be an expert at everything that you need to do to build your property portfolio, so why on earth would you even try?
There are people that have studied for years and spent their whole lives becoming great solicitors, becoming excellent mortgage brokers, becoming excellent project managers, excellent builders, excellent tradespeople, excellent letting agents, excellent property sources.
All of these people have got lifetimes of experience, they've got years and years of doing this work every single day, and they're the people that you need to do the work for you. Now, if you really want to be someone who goes outside and carries this big workload on their back and does all of the work, then, by all means, you go for it, but why on earth would you not hire the best people out there? In my view, you, as an investor, you should be able to sit in London, in your office or sit in Dubai, and you should be able to know that you've got the very best people working for you in the UK in your investment area, that would do a much better job than you'd be able to do on your own.
Surely the point of this investment in property is in the background, make money while you sleep, have as close to a passive income as you can get, if thatās even a thing. And by getting the best results, you're only going to get the best results if you employ the best team to do the work for you.
So, just remember this, when you're thinking about getting started in property or thinking about your next venture, there's probably someone that you could hire to do it for you that's going to do it better than you would be able to yourself. It's really important to remember that. Get the right team, employ them to do the work and you enjoy the proceeds and the results of you finding the right team.
