Whilst it’s raining lets take a look at some fact or fiction myths when it comes to insurance 🤔

🔋 “Electric vehicles are part of the problem?”

TRUE – electric vehicles are more expensive to insure and the growing numbers of them are contributing to premiums rising. This is due to sourcing the parts, repairs taking longer and garages needing more space to fix EVs.

⛴️ “Are global supply chain issues still at play?”

TRUE – Geopolitical factors such as Brexit and the war in Ukraine have heavily affected supply chain leading to logistical delays. These delays mean courtesy car users require the cars longing increasing the cost by 30% which is affecting premiums.

💰“The cheapest policy is the best policy?”

FALSE - Lots of insurance aggregators offer a ‘no frills’ kind of cover, which is often the cheapest option. However it may not suit your needs, often missing things that are included in ALL of our policies such as windscreen cover and courtesy car cover.

🏡“Insuring my home and car through one company could save me money.”

TRUE – There is a possibility we can offer our clients bespoke discounts for having multiple policies with us. If you already have your car, van or home with us we may be able to save you money on other insurances you require that are not currently with us.
