📢DCU Student Bursary Awards Application NOW OPEN!
Two bursaries of £1,000 each will be awarded
If you are entering or continuing 3rd level education in September 2026 and are a member of Dungannon Credit Union why not apply?

• The bursaries are intended to assist recipients with education-related expenses, including but not limited to tuition fees, books, equipment, travel, accommodation and other study costs.🏫👨‍🎓
• Two bursaries of £1,000 each
To enter:
• Applicants must complete the official bursary application form either on our website or in the office.
• Applicants must complete all details and submit a written statement in 250 words (Maximum) explaining how the bursary would benefit them in their further education or apprenticeship.
• Applications must be received no later than 10th September 2026.
• Late or incomplete applications will not be considered.
• Only one application per eligible member will be accepted.

Have you lost touch with Dungannon Credit Union ? We are currently writing to those Members who are nearing 3 years without a transaction, to take the steps to keep your account active by:
✅making a transaction no matter how small - online or in our office.
✅update us if any details have changed or to check the Nominee named on your account.
👉Put it on the 'To Do List' and get in touch?
👉Once over the 3 years, your account will marked as "Dormant"
You will then need to get in touch on 02887723729 and bring in to the office:
1. Photographic ID
2. Proof of address (dated within the past 3 months)
Please be assured, your shares and savings remain in your account and earn any dividend if applicable however, you will be unable to transact.

🎨 2026 Art Competition launched 🖌
Dungannon Credit Union are delighted to announce that we are now accepting entries for the 2026 Credit Union Art Competition.

This year's theme, "World of Colour", encourages participants to use art to explore the colours, experiences and perspectives that make our world unique. Whether inspired by nature, culture or imagination, entrants are encouraged to interpret the theme in their own way. From bright, bold landscapes to subtle moments of everyday beauty, a "World of Colour" offers endless opportunities for artists to tell their stories through creativity.

Now in its 43rd year, the Credit Union Art Competition continues to support and promote creativity at every stage of life. From early learners to lifelong artists, the competition celebrates the power of art to connect, inspire and bring communities together.

We will be reaching out to all our local Schools and our office will also accept entries. There are 2 categories – General Category & Additional Needs Category – with the following age groups in each category – Age limit applying as of December 31st, 2026.

7 years and under
8 – 10 years inclusive
11 – 13 years inclusive
14 – 17 years inclusive
18 years and over (Adult)

Closing date for entries to be returned to Dungannon Credit Union office is Friday 16th October 2026.

This competition requires entrants to draw or paint posters using pencil, charcoal, pen or ink, felt tip marker, crayon, pastel, water colours, gouache, acrylics, oils, poster colour or collage.
Posters are required to be either A3 (420 x 297 mm) or A2 (594 x 420mm) and landscape orientation. Portrait orientation entries will be disqualified from adjudication.
