Great financial planning starts with understanding people, not just numbers.
💚 This week is Mental Health Awareness Week 2026, led by the Mental Health Foundation, with this year’s theme “Great Mental Healthcare is Human”.
As a people-orientated business, this resonates strongly with us. Meaningful relationships, empathy and support are central to how we work every day. 🤝
We are proud to share that our Client Services Associate, Alana Kearnan, is certified in Mental Health First Aid, helping us continue to build a supportive environment for both our team and clients.
Supporting mental wellbeing is also an important part of how we care for vulnerable clients. Significant impact on emotional wellbeing and decision making can arise from a range of life experiences, including:
▪️ Life events
▪️ Bereavement
▪️ Illness
▪️ Stress
▪️ Financial pressure
▪️ Major transitions
We believe financial planning should always be approached with compassion, patience and understanding.
Alana shared:
“Sometimes the most important thing we can do is simply make space for someone to feel heard. Mental health conversations don’t need to be perfect, they just need to start with kindness, empathy and understanding.”
This week is a reminder that wellbeing matters in every workplace. Whether it’s checking in with colleagues, encouraging open conversations, or creating a culture where people feel supported, small actions can make a meaningful difference. 💬 💪
