Senior Payroll Administrator
Alliance Payroll Services Limited are a small but dynamic Bacs approved Payroll Bureau, based in Droitwich Spa. We were established in 1999 and have a long trading history with an excellent customer base, many of whom have been with us for 20 plus years.
We are looking to take on a Senior Payroll Administrator with a modern approach, who will be a vital part of ensuring our continued success.
The successful candidate should have experience in the full payroll process, from end to end, including the implementation of new customer payrolls within a Payroll Bureau environment, or within an accountancy practice running multiple payrolls. They must also have experience of pension administration and uploads to various pension providers.
Experience of using Sage 50 Payroll would be an advantage.
Responsibilities:
• Processing multiple weekly, 2 weekly, 4 weekly and monthly payrolls.
• Submitting pension data to relevant pension providers.
• Processing and providing various customer reports.
• Calculating statutory payments and holiday pay.
• Dealing with client payroll queries.
• Dealing with HMRC and pension queries.
• Completing year end returns and P60’s.
• Implementation of new payroll customers.
Requirements:
• Payroll experience is vital, ideally within a payroll bureau or an accountancy practice that runs multiple payrolls.
• Working knowledge of Sage 50 Payroll would be an advantage.
• Good IT skills to include MS Office.
• Excellent knowledge of pensions and with multiple pension providers.
• Excellent communication skills both on phone and by email.
• Excellent administration skills, with the ability to organise and prioritise work.
• Knowledge of bacs payment processing would be an advantage.
37.5 hours Full time. Part time (minimum of 3 days per week) would be considered.
Hours of work: 8am – 4pm, 8:30 - 4:30pm or 9am – 5pm.
21 days holiday plus bank holidays. After 2 full calendar years’ service, holiday will rise by 1 day per year, up to a maximum of 25 days.
Salary – Circa £30,000 depending on experience.
