🧠 Ahead of World Mental Health Day tomorrow, Team Partridge Peartree and the wider Wild Thang Group are taking a moment to highlight the importance of looking after our mental health and supporting the fantastic team around us.

Mental wellbeing matters as much as physical wellbeing, and sometimes the simplest things can make a real difference: taking a proper break, getting outside, staying active, speaking to someone you trust, prioritising rest, or simply checking in on a colleague.

Creating a positive workplace culture and placing social impact at the heart of our team also means making space for honest conversations in L'Derry, Dublin, Liverpool, & New Jersey. We want our people to feel comfortable speaking up when things feel difficult, asking for support when needed, and knowing that they do not have to deal with everything on their own.

As part of our wider commitment to our people and wellbeing, we also have Mental Health First Aiders within our wider group team. We are ever grateful to Stacey and Simon, who are there to listen, support, and help signpost people towards the right resources safely and confidentially.

Having partnered with the Mind Class app and received training from Chasing Stigma, we have learned there is also advice available from Mind, NHS Every Mind Matters, Samaritans, Shout, and Hub of Hope. Sometimes a conversation, a check-in, or simply asking “How are you really doing?” can make more difference than we realise.

🌈 Colour, community, and a brilliant cause at Titanic Slipways!

We were delighted to support YouthAction NI with branded T-shirts for their first-ever Rainbow Run in Belfast and, judging by the photos, they definitely got put to good use!

The event brought people together to walk, run, skip, dance, and wheel their way around the colourful route, all while raising vital funds to support YouthAction NI’s work with young people across Northern Ireland.

It was fantastic to hear from the team afterwards that the event was such a success and that almost everyone managed to get their hands on one of the T-shirts.

Projects like this are exactly why we love what we do. The right branded clothing can help create a real sense of identity, bring people together, and add something special to an event people will remember.

A huge well done to everyone at YouthAction NI, everyone who took part, volunteered, fundraised, and supported the night.
