End of season day on Upper Craig. Been a hard year although we've had some fun and a few fish here and there. Finished off with a fish from the lower beat and one lost in the Woodpecker. Thanks to our regular season rods and visitors for coming to fish and help support our beautiful part of the River Orchy. Until next time. 🎣🥃🥃.

First day on the Orchy with some of our season rods after 2 months of drought. Water was at a great level. Owen Moran got a brief hold of a fish in the little colonels but it didn't stick. A bit of excitement given so few fish about. Still very enjoyable morning and lunch wasn't too bad either. Still some season tickets available if anyone would like to come and fish our lovely beat where you would be most welcome. Day tickets available too. 🎣🥃

End of season day on Upper Craig Beat with a few of our season rods, proprietor Gren Lang and Ghillie/ Beat manager Ray Doonan. Thanks to our regular and visiting anglers for their continued support in making it such a fun place to be. Been a mixed season with extremes of weather and water conditions, but an enjoyable one all the same.

We still have availability in the cabins over the fireworks - the Glen offers a quiet retreat for guests and their dogs.. over the past couple of years we’ve had guests coming with the grateful pooches to escape the loud noises..

When we receive emails and cards from guests thanking us for their stay with us it makes it all worthwhile. On Thursday we were blown away when some regular customers, Mike & May, presented us with a picture of Inveroran by Mike Travers Artography. It's just beautiful and will take pride of place on our wall. N&E

Up on the beat earlier in the week with Gren Lang and his good friend Mike. Great to bump into Tristan from Glen Orchy Farm too. Some strimming complete despite the soaring temperatures. An occasional cast for trout.
Had a lovely stay at Inveroran Hotel . Thanks to Nadia and Ewen for looking after us so well. Praying for rain now.

Won't be too long now. Waiting in anticipation for the next spate on the Orchy. 🎣🥃
