At last some warmer weather and fish rising all day.
Evening time is still the best, I think it's safe to say Martin is pretty excited to catch a nice brownie 😂😂

The road to the fishery is now fully open, plus we now have a non bumpy entrance 😁
The fly pond will be closed on Sunday the 3rd of May until 4pm as we host the Scottish Ladies Fly Fishing fundraiser.
Our other ponds will be open as normal.

The road outside the fishery (B937) is being re surfaced, even although it has road closed signs up access to the fishery will always be open.
On the fishing side with the warmer weather and fish rising all day buzzers and dries have been working best, over the weekend 68 fly and bait anglers landed almost 300 fish.

Our fly pond is now about 60% ice free and hopefully more by morning.
Top rod today was 11 fish.
Other ponds are still frozen.

Even although we stock fish almost every week summer and winter we never advertise it, today has to be one of our best stockings in recent years. 143 fish which included,
Rainbows up to 12lb
Browns and blues up to 6lb and
Brook up to 2lb.

This year's addition to the Parkview water sports centre is the JCB slingshot.
It's all about timing, let go too early your still on the bank,
Let go too late your in the field with 2 broken legs 😂

Our fly pond will be closed from 8am until 4pm on Sunday the 6th of April for our final fundraising event of the year
Bait and coarse will be open as usual.

There are still a few places available for the Ladies Scottish Team Fundraiser held here on Sunday 23rd of March, if you would like a place please message or phone the fishery.
Cost is £30 which includes breakfast roll and lunch.
