🌿 National Hedgerow Week takes place from 4–10 May 🌿

As part of National Hedgerow Week 2026, we’re taking the opportunity to highlight the importance of hedgerows and their part in our landscapes. Although we often think of hedgerows as a single feature, many are made up of tree species that are also some of the UK’s most familiar and valued natives.
This year there is a particular focus on hawthorn, exploring its resilience, its value for wildlife, and the pressures it currently faces.
The Tree Council is hosting a series of online Hedge Talks, offering practical information, expert insight and opportunities to learn how individuals and organisations can support hedgerow protection and understanding.

We love celebrating what makes Cupar special 💙
The Cupar Transport Museum, part of the Cupar Museum & Heritage Centre, is run by a brilliant group of volunteers who give their time to keep our local history alive.

It’s right at the railway station with no admission charge, perfect if you’ve not been before or fancy a local afternoon out.
Huge credit to everyone involved 👏
