Whether you're looking to purchase a new tractor, add solar panels or looking to upgrade your existing equipment, don't forget about the super deduction allowance.

The super deduction allows you to claim 130% of the asset price. There is no expenditure limit on this, however, it is only available on new equipment and it is only available to Limited Companies as it applies to Corporation Tax as opposed to Income Tax.

Hire Purchase contracts also qualify under the super-deduction allowance.

IT'S CHRISTMASSS! 🎄

Firstly, name that film! This Christmas there is a number of ways that you can support British Farming and we thought we would share a few ways:

🦃 Source a turkey this from a British Farm and if you can, get one from a farm that is local to you - NFU have a Turkey Finder search tool

👨🏼‍🍳 If you opt for oil for your roast potatoes instead of goose fat, consider using rapeseed oil. With a higher smoke point than olive oil, rapeseed oil is widely grown in the UK.

🧀 For your cheeseboard this year, choose British cheese. In our opinion, we have some of the best cheeses and as we're based in Cheshire, we thoroughly enjoy the cheeses from our local dairy farmers

🥕 Use what's in season for this time of year in Britian which are sprouts, potatoes and parsnips. These are all staples for our Christmas dinner.

🧑🏼‍🌾 Looking to build someone a hamper as a present? Why not head over to your local farm shop and build a hamper with some locally made jams, curds, biscuits and much more!

Have you started to use drones for farming?

Drones have been used in Agriculture for a few years now to help farmers with crop spraying 🌾

Now the next generation of drones have the ability to survey crops and herds over vast areas quickly and efficiently whilst the computer vision is being used to analyse field conditions and deliver precise interventions like fertiliser, nutrients and pesticides where crops needed them to the most.
