Following on from our👋" Meet the Team" this week its ;

Alex Greaves. TMP Mortgage Consultant.

Alex has been in the mortgage industry since 2011 and has been part of the TMP team since 2015 which, according to him, have been the best years of his life. We’re choosing to believe he means professionally… although we’re sure his family may challenge that claim.

Outside of work, Alex has three children who dominate… sorry, ARE his life.

He’s also a big sports fan and enjoys football, golf, rugby and tennis. It’s important to clarify however that these are very much armchair sports. Participation is limited primarily to watching from the sofa and offering expert analysis from a safe distance.

Around the office, Alex is known for being a great consultant. Quiet and reserved most of the time, but if there’s a company social involved, there’s every chance he suddenly becomes the loudest person in the room.

We’re still investigating this phenomenon.

Seeing Shared Ownership headlines like this gives us all the feels on a Friday.

Our Managing Director, Kelly McCabe, has been featured in national press coverage by The Mirror, sharing her insight on the current housing and mortgage market. Chirpy’s been spending some time in the office recently 🐦😎

And suddenly there are lists everywhere.

We’ve seen a few:
✔ “Sit in on meetings”

Quite a lot more:
✔ “Approve biscuit selection”

But most importantly, we’ve spotted plenty of notes about:
✔ “Reducing stress”

And honestly, that part’s important.

Because a good bit of planning really does make moving home feel a lot less stressful.

Getting mortgage-ready early can mean more options, fewer surprises and a smoother move when the time comes.

(Although we’re still not convinced Chirpy needs to attend every meeting.)

Hey, following on from our last post celebrating our amazing team, we’d love to introduce you to Adrienne 👋

Adrienne Head – Mortgage & Protection Consultant

Adrienne began her journey in finance back in 2018 and has worked her way up through the ranks, from administrator, to mortgage case handler, and now a fully qualified mortgage advisor. Her passion lies in helping people achieve what can often feel impossible: owning their own home 🏡

Having stepped onto the property ladder herself in 2023 through shared ownership, Adrienne understands first-hand the challenges buyers can face, and the solutions that can make it happen.

Outside of work, Adrienne is a proud mum to her son, Oscar, and fiancée to her partner, Jacob. At home, it’s all about rugby, good food, and making memories with friends and family whenever they get the chance.

We’re very happy to have Adrienne as part of the TMP team 💙

Say hello to Chirpy 👋

You’ve probably seen a few of our Meet the Team posts recently, introducing some of the people behind TMP.

But there’s one very important member of the team we couldn’t leave out…

Chirpy 🐦

If you’ve been around TMP for a while, you’ll probably recognise our little green budgie. But Chirpy’s more than just a mascot.

They’re a reminder of how we like to do things here, helpfully, positively and with our team at the heart of it all.

Because mortgages can feel stressful sometimes.
Shared Ownership can feel complicated.
And moving home is a huge life moment.

That’s why we believe a little warmth, reassurance and personality can make a big difference.

Over the next few months, Chirpy will be popping up in a few more places, including tagging along on some adventures with the TMP team ✈️☀️

And Chirpy’s already picked up their first lesson from holiday…

A little planning goes a long way.

Luckily, that’s true for mortgages too.

Whether it’s finding the right Shared Ownership mortgage, understanding the process or simply having somebody there to guide you through it all, we believe things should feel clear, straightforward and a lot less stressful.

Meanwhile, Chirpy’s main contribution so far appears to be sunglasses and airport snacks 🌴

Hey! We thought it would be nice to introduce you to our wonderful team here at TMP and give everyone a chance to say hello.

What better way to kick things off than with someone who’s thinking about getting a dog… we love dogs! Not sure if we’ve ever mentioned that. All animals, actually, although we can’t quite keep giraffes at home. For the moment. Lets hear it for the dogs!

Life these days is wonderfully busy with two young daughters, and we’re now getting ready to welcome a four-legged addition to the mix, because why not add a little more chaos!

I’m a big believer in the simple things, like a long walk with friends and a really good cup of coffee. And while my husband, Rob, and I still love a movie night, it’s safe to say they don’t quite happen like they used to. What once took two hours now takes three nights, but we get there in the end!"
