At Mallard Finance we specialise in providing finance both to individuals and businesses to help purchase motor cars and vans up to a maximum size of 3.5 tonnes. We also specialise in helping customers to refinance balloon payments on vehicles they already have. Mallard Finance has been lending since 1995 and is privately owned. We have a good understanding of the market place and are able to take

decisions in a common sense manner which gives us flexibility in our approach to lending. Each application is considered by an underwriter rather than relying solely on a credit score. Our aim is to deliver an efficient service for both our customers and the motor dealers who introduce applicants to us. We do this through a combination of bespoke computer systems and experienced dedicated staff. For our network of over 3,000 motor dealers this gives a flexibility and reliability that enables them to sell more cars; for the customer it means that they receive a high level of personal contact and service which makes the obtaining of credit a simple and straightforward process. Mallard Finance lends to a range of customers. If however a proposal falls outside our lending criteria we have a good working relationship with other funding sources who may be able to help.
