Meet Julie Rainbird, Head of Technical Claims at Arc Legal. Julie thrives on the investigative side of claims, digging into the details to find the best outcomes. She also helps drive collaboration across teams through her work on various committees.
For her, the most rewarding part of working at Arc Legal is the people and variety that each day brings. Her top career tip: “Enjoy what you do, and don’t be afraid to step out of your comfort zone.”
Outside of work, Julie helps run a Brownie pack and enjoys exploring the outdoors with her dogs, Peanut and Ernie.

Thank you to everyone who participated in the first round of Arc Legal's Bake Off 2025. All proceeds will be donated to our corporate charity, St Helena Hospice.
The competition showcased a variety of entries, and the judges took their roles seriously. They debated whether Millionaire’s Shortbread qualifies as a biscuit or a cake (a quick check confirmed that it’s a biscuit).

The National Animal Welfare Trust is a Rescue and Rehoming charity; caring for and rehoming up to 1,300 animals a year. They care for animals who find themselves homeless through no fault of their own, bring them back to good health, train them and finally find them a loving forever home.

Drawing on our wealth of knowledge and experience within the legal expenses and assistance service sectors, we designed a unique business model to streamline the claims process and create a robust and effective risk management framework, while allowing a high degree of flexibility of approach.

We work with insurers, intermediaries, financial institutions and affinity groups, focusing upon delivering bespoke solutions providing ‘best in market’ legal advice and case handling.
Our portfolio of contracts include the management of over 5.5 million motor legal expenses policies, over 2.4 million family legal expenses policies and providing access to off duty legal protection for 2 in 3 police officers in England and Wales.
