The 2026 Credit Union Art Competition is now open ๐ŸŒŸ
We are excited to extend an invitation to people of all ages and abilities to represent Coalisland Credit Union at the local level of the competition.

The theme is '๐™’๐™ค๐™ง๐™ก๐™™ ๐™ค๐™› ๐˜พ๐™ค๐™ก๐™ค๐™ช๐™ง'.
Whether inspired by nature, culture or imagination, from bright, bold landscapes to subtle moments of everyday beauty, โ€œWorld of Colourโ€ offers endless opportunities.

There are two categories:

- General Category

- Additional Needs Category

Entry forms can be collected from our office or downloaded from the ๐™‰๐™š๐™ฌ๐™จ ๐™Ž๐™š๐™˜๐™ฉ๐™ž๐™ค๐™ฃ on our website along with full details ๐Ÿ’ป
There are 3 stages to the competition, with this being the 1st stage: local, regional and national. Winners at national level will have their artwork used for the all island Credit Union calendar.

๐Ÿ’™ SUPPORTING THE OGRAS SUMMER SCHEME ๐Ÿ’™

ร“gras Centre Coalisland provides an invaluable year-round service for young people in Coalisland. During the school holidays, its summer scheme supports more than ๐Ÿฑ๐Ÿฌ๐Ÿฌ local children and is delivered with the help of around 40 dedicated volunteers.

We were extremely disappointed to learn that ร“gras has to date, received no funding for this yearโ€™s summer scheme.

Having reviewed our community budget, Coalisland Credit Union is pleased to make a donation to help ร“gras deliver this important programme and ensure that local children can ๐—ฒ๐—ป๐—ท๐—ผ๐˜† ๐—ฎ ๐˜€๐—ฎ๐—ณ๐—ฒ, ๐—ฝ๐—ผ๐˜€๐—ถ๐˜๐—ถ๐˜ƒ๐—ฒ ๐—ฎ๐—ป๐—ฑ ๐—ฒ๐—ป๐—ด๐—ฎ๐—ด๐—ถ๐—ป๐—ด ๐˜€๐˜‚๐—บ๐—บ๐—ฒ๐—ฟ ๐—ฒ๐˜…๐—ฝ๐—ฒ๐—ฟ๐—ถ๐—ฒ๐—ป๐—ฐ๐—ฒ.

As a member-owned organisation, ๐˜€๐˜‚๐—ฝ๐—ฝ๐—ผ๐—ฟ๐˜๐—ถ๐—ป๐—ด ๐—ผ๐˜‚๐—ฟ ๐—ฐ๐—ผ๐—บ๐—บ๐˜‚๐—ป๐—ถ๐˜๐˜† ๐—ถ๐˜€ ๐—ฐ๐—ฒ๐—ป๐˜๐—ฟ๐—ฎ๐—น ๐˜๐—ผ ๐—ฒ๐˜ƒ๐—ฒ๐—ฟ๐˜†๐˜๐—ต๐—ถ๐—ป๐—ด ๐˜„๐—ฒ ๐—ฑ๐—ผ. However, voluntary contributions from local organisations should complement -not replace- the responsibilities of statutory bodies, public funders and other relevant agencies.

A programme of this scale cannot be expected to depend solely on local fundraising and goodwill. We strongly encourage elected representatives and funding organisations to recognise the contribution ร“gras makes and to help establish sustainable support for its work.

We are proud to stand alongside ร“gras, its volunteers and the hundreds of local families who benefit from this outstanding community service.
