Reminder of the Children's Nature Discovery Day taking place in the Newmills Community Garden on Saturday 13th June between 10am - 12.30pm. There will be a variety of activities taking place, including Wildlife Walks, Bird Watching, Minibeast Hunts and Treasure Hunts. The event is free to attend.

This project is supported by PEACEPLUS, a programme managed by the Special EU Programmes Body (SEUPB)

This week marks national Volunteer Week, and fittingly we have just installed this display in our office to recognise those individuals who have voluntarily given their time to Coalisland Credit Union since opening in 1963.

Credit unions are built on that spirit of volunteerism and a shared commitment to keeping communities strong, connected and thriving. People helping people in action.
Thank you to all our board directors, supervisors and committee members, past and present, whose dedication has helped shape our Credit Union over the years.

𝙎𝙪𝙥𝙥𝙤𝙧𝙩𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙇𝙤𝙘𝙖𝙡 - 𝙎𝙘𝙝𝙤𝙤𝙡 𝙒𝙚𝙡𝙡𝙗𝙚𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙁𝙪𝙣𝙙 🌟

We recently visited St. Mary’s Primary, Stewartstown to hear how they will use their money from our 𝘚𝘤𝘩𝘰𝘰𝘭 𝘞𝘦𝘭𝘭𝘣𝘦𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘍𝘶𝘯𝘥 to pay for a block of gymnastics classes for the whole school to improve balance, posture and mobility.
The funding will help them further support the wellbeing of the school children and we are delighted to be able to aid that.

When people choose to become members with us to save and borrow, it enables us to be able to support our local community with initiatives like this one.

𝙎𝙪𝙥𝙥𝙤𝙧𝙩𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙇𝙤𝙘𝙖𝙡 - 𝙎𝙘𝙝𝙤𝙤𝙡 𝙒𝙚𝙡𝙡𝙗𝙚𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙁𝙪𝙣𝙙 🌟

We recently visited Gaelscoil Uí Néill to see the children playing with the much needed sports equipment purchased with our 𝘚𝘤𝘩𝘰𝘰𝘭 𝘞𝘦𝘭𝘭𝘣𝘦𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘍𝘶𝘯𝘥 donation.

Problem-solving skills and patience were initially being put to the test as pupils untangled nets, read instructions and assembled the new sports equipment 🤔
The school also purchased some sensory toys for their new sensory shed, a vital resource.
