If anyone has old tools just sitting in a shed these can be donated to Tools for Self Reliance Cymru, who prepare second-hand tools to go out to their centre in Tanzania, or for sale in the UK to fund transport of tools needed by craftsmen and women in Tanzania. Contact us on 07790 546890 if you have tools for them, and we will arrange with you how to get them to a collection point.

Please note that donations of food can be left in the baskets at the Co-op and Cwm Stores. Donations of food and/or cash for us to top up our stock can be brought to Ty Croeso on Tuesday mornings between 10.00 a.m. and midday. Thanks to all who support us whether regularly or with occasional donations.

It's not right that people are having to turn to food banks just to survive.

But together, we can change this. 💚

Been up to Cwtch Bach this morning. A real buzz about the place, with families there not jut to get items from the new 'Cwtch Bach' but also for some family cookery instruction, craft opportunities, and to help around the garden. Great work, Alison and team up there.

Some summer ideas from our friends at Repair Cafe Wales. Sorry, we're unable to run our Repair Cafe any more BUT you can go to Pontardawe (Ty'r Gwrhyd, Holly St.) on the third Saturday of the month from September, or to Environment Centre for their REpair Hub 10-4 on Thursdays and Fridays.

Sadly, due to the low level of interest, we have made the difficult decision to stop running our Repair Cafe sessions. These began in the early days of Repair Cafe Wales back in 2019 and we came through Covid, lots of changes of 'fixers', and a change of venue. But the time has come to celebrate what has been, and move on. Thanks to those who have visited us. If you have something needing a repair you can visit Pontardawe or Swansea Repair Cafes on the third Saturday of each month (see RCW website for details), or go to the Swansea Repair Hub at the Environment Centre on Thursdays and Fridays 10-4.
