“What happens’ if a die without a Will in place?” Let’s address the elephant in the room - people don’t like to talk about death or money, they both evoke feelings we’re not always comfortable with, but they’re unavoidable! Sorry!

I wanted to use this social media space to tackle some of the more triggering questions around money and this one is ‘Why do I need a Will?’ or more importantly ‘What happens if I don’t have a Will when I die?’

If you don’t have a Will in place in the event of your death your hopes of passing your money onto your chosen beneficiaries may not be carried out as you’d hoped or worst still, your beneficiaries may not benefit at all.

We all need a Will - it isn’t the nicest thing to think about BUT if you have a great Financial Adviser who you are comfortable to chat to, it shouldn’t be a bad experience, it should bring you comfort and peace of mind that if the worst should happen, those you care most about will be taken care of.

Book in a meeting with me - it can be virtual or face to face, whatever you’re most comfortable with. It’s without pressure or obligation and you might just learn something useful.

I get asked this a lot 'who do I work with?'

There's seems to be a misconception about what sort of person works with or should work with a financial adviser.

When actually, everyone, throughout their life, would probably benefit from getting some guidance from an expert. I work with a number of business owners (like myself), who are busy people and prioritise their business over their financial wellbeing for example. What I do is help keep them on track towards the retirement they may want, or plan for when life throws a curve ball.

I apply years of experience to their individual circumstances and pick up on things they may never have considered or thought about, putting a 'what if plan' in place.

Business owners are people too! And as people we all have hopes and dreams for our future and for those we care about. I work with people at all stages of their life-journey to help get a plan in place that will work now and the future - we all want the life we dreamed of and to be able to live it in comfort.

Working with an expert might just mean the difference between an ok future or a super exceptional one!
