Our latest Deal Spotlight is a little different from the usual Kingsley Asset Finance transaction.
We were recently approached by a new broker partner, Adamantean, whose customer had secured a multi-million pound contract with the management company of Harry Styles.
Control Core Ltd is a relatively new business, owned and managed by exceptionally well-connected individuals. The company won the contract to provide technical facilities for the upcoming Harry Styles “Together Together” tour, with the equipment expected to remain in use for years to come.
The asset required was a telescopic camera pole fitted with a heavy-duty remote head. This specialist equipment enables cameras to capture footage from positions that would be impossible for a traditional camera operator to access. For the Harry Styles shows, the telescopic pole will be positioned at the front of the stage and can reach heights of up to 2.8 metres. It also allows for completely unobstructed filming, providing a significant advantage over conventional camera operation.
Duncan Payne of Adamantean contacted Kingsley following a recommendation through The Guild of Business Finance Professionals. He explained the opportunity and advised that the majority of the funding had already been secured, with only the final portion still requiring finance. Despite the business being brand new, Duncan presented a compelling rationale and detailed supporting information which we reviewed in detail, and our underwriters were able to approve the remaining funding requirement.
Once the finance was approved, we proceeded with the necessary due diligence, including credit checks and asset inspections which Duncan was able to assist with. Throughout the process, communication from Duncan and the Adamantean team was excellent, keeping us informed at every stage. As a result, we were able to complete the payout within the required timescale.
This has been a fantastic opportunity for Kingsley, and we would like to extend a huge thank you to Duncan, Adamantean, and Control Core for their trust and support throughout the transaction. It was incredible to receive photos of the equipment we helped fund in action on stage at Wembley Stadium.
