This position is an exciting opportunity for a motivated, confident individual with excellent attention to detail and desire for a long-term career. You will be working closely with the Adviser and Paraplanner of a firm of Independent Financial Advisers (IFA) which is going through an exciting time of change. Main responsibilities of the position include:
• Providing pre and post-meeting support
• Booking client meetings/diary management
• Preparation of valuation reports and documentation in readiness for client meetings
• Processing business for Adviser/Paraplanner through to completion, liaising with clients, providers, third parties and colleagues.
• Updating all relevant systems and ensuring correct completion of necessary documents
• Create and maintain records and databases with clients financial and other data.
• Providing basic office administrative support for the Paraplanner and Adviser.
You will ideally have previous background or prior knowledge in Financial Services, but this is not essential. Your personal drive and enthusiasm is our main consideration.
Applicants should live within five miles of East Wittering. This limitation is based on our experience that part-time employees tire very quickly of a long commute and soon seek a more locally-based role. If you live further away, sorry, but your application will not be considered further.
Though mainly an administrative role the successful applicant is a key member of our team and we do provide a lot of ongoing training. Consequently, our objective is to find someone seeking a long-term position and career rather than a temporary job.

The initial hours or work are from 9:15 to 12:45 but could be full-time subject to experience and qualifications. There is scope for flexibility and for a combination of working from the office and home.
The initial salary is £12 per hour though this is negotiable based on your skills and experience and will be reviewed after the first three months.
