Big affordability update for higher earners!

Some lenders are continuing to increase borrowing flexibility for high earning applicants and the latest criteria enhancement from one lender is a significant one!

Joint applicants with a combined income of £150k+ may now be able to borrow up to 6.5x income at 75% LTV or below.

For the right clients, this could mean:
• Increased purchasing power
• More flexibility when upsizing
• Greater access to prime property markets

Not all lenders assess income in the same way.

Bonus income, RSUs, deferred compensation and international earnings can all dramatically impact affordability depending on lender criteria and application strategy.
