Deal Alert - Negative equity on a balloon payment does not have to be the end of the road.

Recently, we supported a long-standing customer through a difficult situation on a prestige EV:

- In 2022, we financed a Porsche Taycan
- By 2026, its value had dropped significantly
- The balloon was £76,125, with an estimated value of £45,000 – leaving over £31,000 in negative equity

Instead of relying on automated decisions, we reviewed the customer’s full relationship and financial position, and were able to:

- Refinance the customer into a new agreement
- Keep monthly payments in line with their existing commitments
- Reduce the future balloon to a more realistic level
- Remove the need for any additional deposit
- Ensure a smooth transition between agreements

Outcome: a long-term client retained, and a customer who can move forward with confidence.

Skate Island UK is set to transform part of Newcastle Racecourse into a vibrant outdoor roller disco and entertainment hub. The venue features a purpose-built skating rink, live DJs, themed events, street food and fully stocked bars, creating a must-visit summer destination.

Led by Rob Oates, we were delighted to fund almost every element needed to bring the project to life, including flooring, lighting, artificial grass, fencing panels, signage, a mega dome and seven 40ft containers — all structured within a single, tax-allowable finance agreement.
