Rosie is visiting CCR at Excel London today! 👋

She’s looking forward to catching up with familiar faces, meeting some new ones and taking a look at the latest equipment and technology in medical aesthetics.

It’s always lovely to hear what people are working on, along with the plans clinics have for the future.

Nicki and Heather were delighted to join a fantastic group of women from across our industry for afternoon tea at Fortnum & Mason, as guests of Novuna Business Finance.
It was a great opportunity to step away from the day-to-day, catch up with familiar faces, meet some new ones and enjoy plenty of conversation over a glass of fizz (or two!) 🥂
And of course, being Fortnum & Mason, the afternoon tea didn’t disappoint — lovely sandwiches, scones and cakes, plus a fabulous gluten-free selection for Heather, which definitely deserved a special mention!
In what is still a fairly male dominated industry, it was great to see so many women from across the leasing and asset finance world together in one room.
A big thank you to Novuna Business Finance for bringing us all together and for such generous hospitality. A really enjoyable afternoon. 💚

Happy 11th work anniversary to Ani! 🎉

If you’ve worked with Plus Finance, there’s a good chance Ani has helped things along behind the scenes. She works with our suppliers and banking partners, making sure invoices are paid as quickly as possible as stage payments are due or projects reach completion.

She also looks after our social media and creates marketing content, all while bringing plenty of laughter and her own brand of silliness to the office!
It feels like only yesterday that we were welcoming her daughter Everly into the world, and this year Everly has started school. How time flies!

Last week, some of the Plus team visited Shoreditch Design Week and Laura took the opportunity to visit Material Matters, and came back with some brilliant examples of how materials can be given a new purpose.

She saw interior panels made from used coffee cups, furniture created from bark, lights made from old TV tubes, bamboo lighting and lights crafted from recycled cotton. Some of the recycled lighting was even being used as a decorative feature in high-end hotels.

One idea that particularly caught her attention was lighting offered as a service. When a client no longer needs it, the lighting is returned to the supplier, who can reuse its parts or turn them into something new.

What stood out to Laura was the story behind each piece. These weren’t simply products on display. They showed how creative thinking can turn overlooked materials into something beautiful, useful and “kinder to the planet.”

“With a little thought and effort, a fit-out” can reflect a business’s values as well as its style. At Plus Finance, we help businesses fund the fit-outs, furniture and equipment that bring their ideas to life.

It was lovely to see sustainability and great design working so well together.

🌱 25 years of Plus Finance. 25 years of giving back. And now, we want to give back together.

2026 is a very special year for us as we celebrate 25 years of Plus Finance.

When Nicki and Steve started the business 25 years ago, they made a promise to themselves that, wherever they could, they would give something back.
It’s a promise they’ve kept throughout the years, supporting charities, communities and causes that matter to us.
So, as we celebrate this milestone, we wanted to bring you on that journey too.

For every project we finance, we will sponsor a Heart Garden on your behalf through Root & Branch Change – a charity working with impoverished children and families in South Africa.
🌱 A Heart Garden helps a family in South Africa grow fresh, nutritious food at home.

Look at the contrast between the lush, green Heart Garden and the dry grass surrounding it. It’s a powerful reminder of what these gardens can achieve — creating a place where fresh food can grow, even in challenging conditions.
It’s not just a garden. It’s food, opportunity and a little more security for a family.

Team building isn’t just about having fun… although there was plenty of that! 😄

This weekend, we swapped the office for Center Parcs for a few days of team building, competition, plenty of laughs and some much-needed time away from the day-to-day.

From badminton and table tennis to mini golf and kayaking, there was a bit of everything — and, inevitably, a healthy amount of competitiveness along the way! 🏸🏓⛳️🛶

After 25 years of hard work it was an opportunity to take time out and celebrate with each other. But weekends like this are about more than just the activities they help:

🤝 Build stronger relationships and trust
💬 Improve communication and collaboration
💡 Get to know the people behind the roles
🙌 Break down barriers and bring different parts of the team together
🔋 Recharge, have fun and come back with renewed energy

And ultimately, those things matter to the business.

When people know each other, trust each other and enjoy working together, they’re better placed to communicate, collaborate and solve problems as a team.

25 years is a milestone worth celebrating and we did – quite a lot! 🥂

👋 Who’s heading to Shoreditch Design Week next week?

Running from 15–20 September as part of the London Design Festival, Shoreditch Design Week brings together the design community across one of London’s most creative neighbourhoods, with exhibitions, showrooms, installations, talks and events showcasing the latest thinking in interiors, materials and workplace design.

Some of the Plus Pink Ladies plan to be there on Thursday 17th, catching up with familiar faces, meeting new ones and seeing what’s happening across the industry.

Celebrating 25 Years of Plus Finance!

Despite the rather soggy weather, nothing could dampen the spirits at our 25th Anniversary celebration. We were delighted to welcome colleagues, clients, partners, and friends to our offices to celebrate this special milestone and reflect on the journey we’ve shared over the past 25 years.

Guests enjoyed a delicious hog roast, live music from a wonderful jazz band, plenty of laughter, and a few surprises along the way. One of the highlights of the day was an unexpected performance from our very own Nicki and Mandy, who took to the stage and amazed everyone with their singing talents. Many of our guests had no idea that performing arts is a passion they enjoy outside of work!

As we reflected on the last 25 years, it was a wonderful reminder of how far we’ve come since Plus Finance was first imagined by Nicki and Steve over dinner in an Indian restaurant. From those early conversations to becoming a trusted finance partner for businesses across the UK, we’ve remained committed to helping companies grow through flexible funding solutions for fit-outs, equipment, furniture, and business investment.

A huge thank you to our clients, partners, and friends who joined us at our offices to celebrate this special milestone. We’re incredibly proud of what we’ve achieved together and excited for what the future holds.

It is already shaping up to be a brilliant day of conversations with designers, fit out specialists and workplace leaders who are driving innovation across the sector.
