I've seen my fair share of houses that could do with a bit of TLC.

Recently, for example, I viewed a house, and it was like stepping back into the 50's.

Avocado toilet suite 'n' all!

It's a common thing - life happens and before you know it 20, 30 or 40 years have flown by.

As much as I love seeing these places - as if I've stepped out of a time machine...
..trying to sell a place like this can be difficult - potential buyers struggle to see past the aged yellow stained woodchip wallpaper.

The thing is, it often doesn't take much to brighten the place up.

A lick of paint here, some de-cluttering there... maybe some modern furniture and boom!

Now potential buyers can easily see themselves living in a place like this...
..family dinners in the kitchen/diner.
..movies and snuggles in the lounge.
..cosy lay ins in the bedroom.

In most cases, it doesn’t take much to make it more appealing - just try and put yourself in their shoes.

Why did I become a Repossession Rescue Supporter and Partner?

A few months after first seeing Trish McGirr in the YPN magazine – this lady with crazy pink hair smashing it in property with creative deals such as lease options and assisted sales…

…my good friend Gary Quigley was praising and promoting Repossession Rescue.

Well, if Gary says something’s worth taking a squint at, I make damn sure I do.

And what did I find?

None other than the lovely Trish and Repossession Rescue which she’s poured her heart and soul into creating.

It’s obvious how passionate she is about this. She’s experienced repossession both first-hand and vicariously through the many she’s helped.

She very nearly had her home taken away after going through financial struggles - planning and attempting su***de in the process… thank God she didn’t succeed.

She come out the other side and went on to help many others facing the same fate.

The problem is there are far too many for her to handle, which is why she created Repossession Rescue.

Right now there are people struggling financially and facing having their houses repossessed.

They could be owner occupiers or landlords. Some could be closer to you than you think.

If you're an ethical property investor or sourcer, having the right knowledge and tools is crucial.

Whether that's to signpost them so they don’t wind up losing their house…

…or, giving them alternative options where a straight forward sale is not possible for whatever reason.
