Well, we've just finalised our accounts for our 22nd year of trading and it's been another record year in every respect. For yet another year we've not increased the fees we charge clients. In fact, we've only ever decreased them. In percentage terms we charge much less now than we did in 2004 when I founded the company.
What we have increased is our profit-sharing and staff benefits. Full-year bonuses range between 12% and 18% of salary. Why the range? Because we have a graduated scheme whereby those on lower salaries qualify sooner for bonus, whereas those at the top of the scale qualify later, which is fair. We've also increased holidays to a minimum equivalent of 37 days per year, even for the newest colleagues.
On top of all that we also pay for at least two full parties per year for colleagues, partners, and their children, and we provide a choice of nibbles and drinks for all colleagues for free, including nuts, biscuits, chocolate, various fruit juice drinks, Monster and Red Bull, on top of the usual tea, coffee, hot chocolate and Bovril. Oh, and we pay 9% of basic salary into colleagues' pensions with no requirement for a matching contribution.
Oh, and we provide free paid-for parking as well. Plus other stuff I've probably forgotten.
We take staff welfare seriously. Always have, always will.
