Another great The Growth Community, Castleford meeting this week, with a brilliant mix of members along with new and returning guests joining us!

And firstly, apologies for the selfie… clearly I need to work on my group photography skills! 😂

A big thank you to Jay from Keytech for this week’s showcase, Tim Cooper from Not Just Travel for the learning point, and Michael Harle from Prosper Accountancy for co-hosting with our Martin Weaver-Parker again.

As always, the best part was the conversations around the room, plenty of introductions, new connections and people genuinely looking for ways to help each other.

Thanks to everyone who came along and contributed to another really enjoyable meeting.

MEMBER SHOWCASE – Harjit Singh Dhesi Mortgages

Although Harjit has been part of the wider The Growth Community for some time, we’re delighted to officially welcome him to the Castleford Growth Community! 🙌

Harjit is there to help with all things mortgages, whether you’re a first-time buyer, moving home, going through a divorce or looking at Buy-to-Let, from accidental landlords through to portfolio landlords.

He can also help existing homeowners coming to the end of a fixed deal with straightforward same-lender product transfers.

But for Harjit, it’s not just about getting the mortgage in place. He’s passionate about making sure individuals and families have the right protection in place to help mitigate life’s curveballs.

This derby should have plenty of intensity...

Wakefield Trinity have been one of the best teams in Super League this season, while Castleford Tigers arrive with confidence after a surprise comeback victory over league leaders Leeds last week.

Our prediction:
• 🏉 Wakefield Trinity 28–18 Castleford Tigers
• ⭐ Player to watch: Lachlan Walmsley
• 🔥 First try scorer: Caius Faatili

Castleford will make it a scrap, especially with the derby atmosphere, but Wakefield's consistency and attacking form give them the edge.

Whatever happens, expect big hits, a packed crowd, and plenty of local bragging rights on the line.
