We were delighted to participate in the Business Builder Challenge, an exciting programme that enables students to develop real-life business skills by creating and running their own mini-enterprises. Students benefited from the guidance and support of volunteer Business Buddies from the local business community, helping bring their business ideas to life.

Through their hard work and enterprise, students not only gained valuable real-world experience but also raised an impressive £1,842 for The Prince of Wales Hospice

A big Growth Community Castleford welcome to James Wilson from the National Children's Air Ambulance! 🎉

James joined the charity towards the end of last summer and, after spending many years working alongside his dad, is now helping to raise the vital funds needed to keep this incredible service flying.

The National Children's Air Ambulance provides rapid transfers for critically ill babies and children across the UK. As a charity that receives no Government or NHS funding, they rely entirely on the generosity of communities, volunteers and businesses to continue their life-saving work.

James is keen to connect with:
✈️ Businesses looking to support a fantastic cause
💚 Organisations interested in fundraising or getting involved with their GO GREEN campaign
🙋 Volunteers who can help at events (even on a one-off basis)
🏃 Anyone looking for a challenge event to take part in

In fact, James will be tackling the Inflatable 5K in Leeds himself!

We were pleased to welcome Martin Weaver Parker from The Yorkshire Broker to the Hospice, who visited to present medals to our staff who took part in this year’s Walk, Run, Ride Challenge.

Throughout April, supporters took on their own walking, running and cycling challenges to raise vital funds for the Hospice. Every mile covered helped support the care we provide to local patients and families.

It was wonderful to see our staff recognised for their efforts, and we are incredibly grateful to everyone who took part, donated or supported the challenge in any way. Your support makes a real difference.

A huge thank you to everyone from Team Robin who took part in this year’s The Yorkshire Broker Walk, Run, Ride Challenge 💙

Absolutely brilliant to see so many people getting involved, pushing themselves and collecting their medals 🏅👏

What started as a challenge to get people moving has once again turned into something really special, and together we’ve now raised over £3,500 for The Prince of Wales Hospice.
