When teamwork meets LEGO, great things happen 🧱

Our colleagues took part in a LEGO Build Challenge as part of People Who Like, our colleague-led initiative that brings people together through shared experiences, from inspiring talks and events to hands-on learning opportunities.

Teams created their own mini builds of what Admiral means to them, and the result was a brilliant display of imagination, collaboration and pride. From tiny pups and vehicles to Where You Can-inspired creations, umbrellas, chickens and some standout swans repping Swansea, the creativity was next level.

A huge well done to everyone who got involved. A great reminder of what we can create when we build together!

The British Data Awards celebrate the most innovative and impactful data success stories across the UK, bringing together organisations of all sizes and sectors.

Our Data Protection/Privacy award reflects the central role trust plays across our business - from strong governance and risk management to protecting customer data and communicating openly with customers and colleagues. This was brought to life during our recent Trust Week, which recognised the collective effort behind maintaining that trust and the important work of our Risk, Governance and Sustainability teams.

Our Financial Services Company of the Year award recognises our commitment to learning and development, with a specific emphasis on advancing data fluency across the business through the Data Skills for All initiative. This collective effort is helping to build capability and equip colleagues with the skills they need to grow and deliver for our customers.

Sweat, grit, and high heart rates. And no, we’re not talking about the Monday morning inbox.

Thanks to our partnership of community rugby with the The Welsh Rugby Union, our colleagues get some great perks, including the chance to train like an international player at the national teams’ home training ground - the National Centre of Excellence.
We got a tour of their facilities, a talk on high performing behaviours with national squad Strength and Conditioning Coach, Robin Sowden-Taylor, plus men's international player, Gareth Thomas, also joined all the fun!
