ActiveQuote - 2024 Sponsorship collaborations!
Each year we ask the staff here at ActiveQuote to put forward their nominations for sponsorship. This year we received seven in total, and while all seven nominations were worthy of our support, two were picked at random using an online random selector.
Llantwit Fardre RFC Under 8’s – Nominated by Will H (Assoc. CIPD)
Rugby Clubs far and wide have for many years had to rely on the support of parents and local businesses to survive. Their financial contributions allow the clubs to register their teams, pay players registration fees, and to purchase kit and equipment year after year. Therefore, the club intend on using the sponsorship provided by ActiveQuote to help pay for next seasons kit and rugby equipment. And with it being the clubs 125th anniversary, ActiveQuote will be visible to see on this special edition kit, which we are very excited about. Llantwit Fardre has a long history, and the under 8’s are the future. ActiveQuote would like to wish Will’s son, and the rest of the team all the very best for this and next season and look forward to watching the team’s progress. Who knows, there may even be a Welsh International player in the making. This nomination came from Will Hunt whose son plays for Llantwit.
Stephen Carwardine – Nominated by Tracy Carwardine
Stephen is currently in Jaca, Spain, representing Great Britain at the World Inline Hockey Championships. This competition is held every year and this year Great Britain have entered a Masters and a Veterans team and will compete against the likes of Spain, Italy, Australia, Brazil and France to name but a few. The main reason for this nomination was because there is no funding for this sport, therefore those who are chosen must finance the trip themselves. These costs include, entry fees, game kit, insurance, flights, accommodation, and food, therefore, the sponsorship has been used to contribute toward these costs. Everyone here at ActiveQuote would like to wish Stephen Carwardine and the GB Maters and Veterans teams all the very best in the competition. Do us proud!
