HUNGER 😅
At a certain point, dieting is likely going to suck and you’re going to be hungry🥲
The big thing I want to stress with this post is that it is ok and normal to experience hunger while in a caloric deficit. Though it may not be the best feeling in the world, it’s normal and to be expected. Don’t expect there to be a way around it!!
There are things you can do to attenuate the feeling of being hungry:
🌟Shorten your feeding window. For example eat your first meal a couple hours later than normal and your last mean a couple hours earlier.
🌟Eat nutrient dense, voluminous foods. 10g of carbs from veggies is going to fill you up a lot more than 10g of carbs from ice cream.
🌟Drink plenty of fluids throughout the day. Coffee and zero calorie drinks count too 🤪
🌟Make sure you are eating as much as possible while still losing. Don’t decrease calories after one slow week. You can also do cardio to lessen the necessity for calorie drops.
If you are really starting to feel the effects of dieting, more so mentally, schedule in a couple refeed days or a full week diet break at maintenance as well‼️
