We’d love to introduce you to Pauline, our Crematorium Assistant.

Pauline has been part of our team for 5 weeks now and she has already become a fantastic asset. With a wealth of experience in the funeral profession, from funeral arranging to previously working in a crematorium, Pauline brings a wonderful amount of knowledge and experience to the team.

We are delighted to have Pauline on board☺️

Thank you to all the incredible families who joined us this evening for our Baby Loss Service 🤍

It was a special time for us all to come together, reflect, and remember the precious babies who will forever hold a place in our hearts. 🕊️

A very special thank you to Elle for bravely sharing her story with us. Your openness and willingness to share your experience means so much and may help others feel less alone.

Elle also offers bereavement support to anyone who may be struggling with the loss of their baby. If you feel you need someone to talk to or some extra support, please don’t hesitate to contact Elle Margetson. You don’t have to go through this alone. ❤️

We would also like to say a heartfelt thank you to our celebrant, Judy, for helping to create such a beautiful, meaningful and special service for all our families.

❤️Baby Loss Awareness Week❤️

During Baby Loss Awareness Week, we will be holding a special service at Cannock Chase Crematorium to remember and honour precious babies lost during pregnancy or soon after birth.

Everyone touched by baby loss is warmly invited to join us for a quiet and supportive time of remembrance and reflection.

This week is baby loss awareness week, a time to remember and honour all the precious babies who are loved and missed every single day 🤍

We are holding our baby loss service this Thursday 15th at 6:30pm, offering a time to come together, remember and reflect on the little lives that will never be forgotten.

Today, we had a coffin arrive here… on a tractor! 🚜

It was a lovely reminder that there really is no “one size fits all” when it comes to saying goodbye.

A funeral can be as unique, personal and meaningful as the person whose life you’re celebrating.

Whether that means arriving on a tractor, incorporating a much loved hobby, choosing a favourite song, wearing something special, or including the little details that tell their story. There are so many ways to make a funeral truly personal.

Because a funeral isn’t just about saying goodbye. It’s about remembering a life, celebrating a person, and doing things their way. ❤️

So, if you’ve ever thought, “I wonder if we could do that at a funeral?” the answer might just be yes.

Today it was a tractor 🚜
Tomorrow? Who knows… and that’s the beauty of making every farewell your own. ❤️

This week is Hospice Care Week 💚

At Cannock Chase Crematorium, we meet families at one of the most difficult times in their lives and we know that, for many of them, hospice teams have been part of the journey that came before.

Hospice care is about so much more than someone's final days. It's about dignity, comfort, compassion and helping people to live as well as possible for as long as possible.

So this week, we'd simply like to say thank you to the hospice staff and volunteers supporting individuals and families in our local communities every day.

Your work matters enormously. 💚
