It’s our LAST (funding round before) CHRISTMAS on 12th December!

Last year, recipients told us their grants made the difference that allowed them to put food on the table on Christmas Day.

We need as much in the pot as possible so we can make that difference for as many Cambridge residents as we can.

Thanks to some unexpectedly generous donations, we've got more money than we thought this month. That means we're able to open applications again for a short time, starting this WEDNESDAY (12th Oct) at 7pm.

If you or someone you know needs a bit extra to get through this month, set a reminder now, and head to bit.ly/SolCamApply on Wednesday evening.

A message from the CSF team:

We will be reopening for applications on Monday 12th September. However, we've also changed our applications policy, so if you received money in August, you will not be able to apply for this round.

Previously, we allowed people to apply for grants every 30 days. However, due to rising need, we have had to change things to make the fund accessible to as many people as possible. So we are introducing a new rule that if you apply one month, you must take the next month off. For example, if you applied in August, you will not be able to apply in September (this round) but you will be able to apply in October (next round).

We're sorry to have to restrict access in this way – we really wish we could help everybody all the time, but we do need a small number of rules so that we can distribute our limited funds as fairly as possible.

The Lockon X Dope magazine: a message from our comrades The Lockon]!

The Lockon is distributing magazines for people to sell and keep all the proceeds. If you or anyone you know would like to make some cash:

1. Message or come to The Lockon] and ask for some dope magazines (ask for ash if you need any help)
2. Sell the magazines anyway you want to (newspaper and magazine sellers don't require a license)
3. Keep all the money you make, come get more if you like
