Here’s what to look for: missed payments, CCJs, defaults, and make sure you're on the voter’s roll.

They don’t tell you that stepping away for maternity leave feels like walking off a moving train.



You’re still *you*, but everything slows down, and for the first time in a long time, you’re not rushing to the next thing.



There’s this strange mix of joy, guilt, gratitude, and fear.



Being a mum cracked me open in the best and hardest ways.



I’m still learning how to show up for *me*, not just for baby.



But every day I remind myself: slowing down doesn’t mean stopping.

While many lenders have a maximum age of 70, some will take employed income into account all the way up to age 75, and even up to 80 with the right circumstances.

Recently, two clients in their sixties came to the end of their interest-only mortgage term and thought getting a new mortgage wasn’t an option but it absolutely is!
