For 35 years, Bury Hospice has provided outstanding care and support to patients and their families, and this milestone marks an incredible journey since welcoming their very first patient on 24 June 1991.
This event is a celebration of something truly special — the amazing volunteers who give their time, energy and compassion all year round. From catering to gardening, fundraising to retail, their dedication touches every part of the hospice.
To put that into perspective:
✨ 490 volunteers supported the hospice this year
✨ 49,620 hours generously given
✨ Equivalent to over £630,000 in value to the charity
These are not just numbers — they represent a community coming together to make a real difference.
We’re honoured to support the 35th Birthday Party & Celebration of Volunteers this Sunday, helping give something back to those who give so much.
An afternoon of tea, celebration, and appreciation — and a well-deserved thank you to every volunteer involved.
