Aari just turned 1 when I took the leap from Corporate Career Girlie to Peak Mortgages and Protection. He made me realise I wanted work to fit around my family not family to fit around my work. 💙

This week is his final week of “freedom” before he starts school next week. One thing that I think can be done better in schools is teaching life skills and financial literacy. Lucky for this little man, he has been learning the value of earning money and saving since before he could walk and is probably more proficient in mortgages/house buying process than most first time buyers. 🏠

House buying is basically a full-time job with a side of emotional damage.

Spend where it matters, save where you can, and don’t try to carry a washing machine down the stairs to save £200… trust me on that one. 😅

Being trusted to help people with the biggest transactions of their lives is something I will never take for granted.

Last week I was lucky enough to receive these beautiful flowers from the garden of my clients new home and get a tour of their new home. The views were stunning 😍

I welcome all my clients into my life like they are my family, and this visit even saw my son in their living room playing with their son.

For me it’s about so much more than a mortgage, it’s about being there with you on that journey and really making a connection with each other 🏡
