NEW Committee Appointed at the Dunckerleys AGM 2026

On Tuesday the Bristol Masons light blues club held their annual Annual General Meeting.

The Bylaws were signed by outgoing Chairman Peter Carpenter and on behalf of Province by Dr Jonathan Hayes the Assistant Grand Master of Bristol.

A review of the past 12 months and look at ways to grow the club over the next 12 months were discussed with lots of interesting ideas and suggestions made .

A new committee was appointed and with the approval of the PGM it’s been decided that province wii have a permanent liaison to the Dunckerleys with APGM taking on that role in addition to his other responsibilities. We all Look forward to working with Jon over the next 12 months.

Hi all,
Quick heads-up about our AGM. WE ENCOURAGE ALL LIGHT BLUES TO ATTEND IF THEY CAN.

The Dunckerleys Club AGM will be on Tuesday 12th May 2026, in Dining Room 2 at Freemasons’ Hall, Park Street.

We’ll be:
• Discussing plans for the Year ahead.
• Electing Officers for the year ahead
• And no doubt dealing with at least one surprise item that sneaks onto the agenda every year

At this time, the committee have discussed and we have asked Brother Adam Chambers (of Chatterton Lodge and Colston Lodge ) to step up and take over as Chairman and Brother Callum Bryce (of St Vincent Lodge) as Deputy Chairman, as Worshipful Brother Peter Carpenter has indicated he will be stepping down as Chairman this year.

We will be looking for committee members for the other offices.
