What does the Bank Rate hold mean to you? 💭

👉 No immediate change – mortgage rates and borrowing costs will likely stay the same for now.

👉 Fixed vs. variable – those on fixed-rate mortgages won’t be affected, and variable-rate borrowers will continue paying their current rate.

👉Lender reactions – some banks may still adjust mortgage deals, so it's worth speaking to an expert adviser, who could help you get mortgage ready sooner than you think. 🏠

🏦 UK inflation rate falls to 2.5%

Inflation continues to remain slightly above the Bank of England’s target of 2%, and today’s update suggests that this trend may continue into the new year.

👉 Short term, buyers’ borrowing costs are likely to remain where they are.

👉 Inflation will hopefully slow to allow the Bank of England to resume its rate-cutting cycle.

👉 Now is not the time for buyers to adopt a wait-and-see approach.

Getting mortgage ready by ensuring all of your paperwork is in order, and even securing a mortgage in principle can make all the difference when it comes to buying.
