** Insight application for top private equity real estate boutique, Tristan Capital Partners **

Tristan Capital Partners is an independent London-based Private Equity Real Estate boutique that is regarded as one of the leaders in the European marketplace.

Tristan Capital Partners is excited to be hosting two Insight Day events in November, which will be valuable for any students thinking about starting out their careers within the Real Estate Private Equity industry.

They will be inviting a limited number of candidates to join the team at their Berkeley Square offices to learn more about their business, the Real Estate Private Equity Industry and the career opportunities they offer through their Analyst Programme.

The Women's Insight Day will take place on the 20th November 2018 and the Insight Day on the 29th November 2018.

Welcome to the Bristol Real Estate and Finance Society (BREFS)!

BREFS is a student-led society which aims to provide our members with insights into real estate investment & investment management industries. It is our second year of running this society. Last year, we successfully invited Colliers International to give an insight talk and we are looking to expand our platform and offer more exciting opportunities this year. We are currently reaching out to various real estate firms based in or outside of Bristol for partnerships, and will be hosting a panel event with industry experts to discuss interest topics around the housing market, so be on the look out for upcoming events! In addition, we are planning to send a biweekly newsletter to help keep you updated with the real estate market. If you did not come by our stand at the freshers fair, do give us your email so we can add you to our list.

** Hi everyone! We hope revision and exam preparations are going really well! **

The Residential Agents in Bristol Development (RABD) is hosting the Global Wealth and UK Property Insight breakfast seminar on Friday 25th May. The guest speaker will be Gráinne Gilmore of Knight Frank.

Gráinne is Head of Knight Frank’s UK Residential Research, producing bespoke analysis and insight on all aspects of housing in the UK with a particular focus on residential development. She contributes to the production of Knight Frank’s residential forecasts and is also a co-author of The Wealth Report, examining global economic and wealth trends. Gráinne, a former economics correspondent at The Times, is a frequent commentator on housing trends in the press and on broadcast media. She also regularly presents Knight Frank’s latest research to clients, developers and investors in the UK and overseas.

In her presentation topic ‘Global Wealth and UK Property Insight’, Gráinne will compare the wealth of Bristol to global property trends and provide an overview of her recent Wealth Report.

The event will take place at Osborne Clarke 2 Temple Back East, Temple Quay, Bristol BS1 6EG on the 25th May from 8 – 9:45am.

** Hi everyone! We hope you are all well and that the exam period is going smoothly.

We have been contacted by the Bristol Residential Development Society, (which is comprised of Savills, Knight Frank, Alder King and more) who will be hosting a breakfast with a presentation on the 25th May at 8am-10am.

Knight Frank has kindly allowed 5 members from BREFS to come along for the breakfast, presentation and networking event.

This would be a great opportunity to network with prominent figures in the industry in Bristol and to gain an insight into the field of residential development as a whole.

Helen and Amy will be coming from Colliers International and they will be informing us how to enter the real estate sector, the APC process and the different departments within the industry! Hi everyone! We're very exited to be hosting our first event of the year! This will take place in the Stevenson Room in the Student Union building from 13:00-14:30 on the 20th March. Helen Margetson and Amy Bracey from Colliers International will be giving a talk on the property industry, how to enter the field as an undergraduate not specialising in real estate and any other questions which you may have! We hope to see you all there! Good Green Sushi will be there with a stall of amazing sushi!
