It's been a busy week for us here at Rose FP Solutions, and we're excited to announce that the second part of our service upgrade goes live today – our cost calculator.

We are firm believers in providing transparent, consistent pricing to our clients. It started with moving away from charging per hour to a per-task model, and today (after a bit of tweaking), the costs of all our services are available online to everyone. Whether you want to see how much processing an LOA for a new provider costs, or calculate the cost to onboard a whole family, you can now do that. As we want both current and future clients to understand our pricing, our calculator is available to everyone at the top of our website.

I'm sure you've experienced providers claiming they never received your LOAs. It's incredibly infuriating to send something urgent, only for it to disappear into a black hole.

When I first started processing LOAs, this happened to me constantly. I'd send documentation, chase for a response, only to be told they had no record of receiving it. The frustration of having to resend everything and restart the clock was immense.

I can't prevent providers from claiming they never received something, but I can make sure I have proof that they did. That's why I built an LOA tracking system that logs every submission with timestamps and delivery confirmations.

This creates a clear audit trail should issues arise with providers. You have indisputable proof that documents were sent and received, which changes the conversation entirely when a provider claims otherwise.

Streamlining the LOA process is something I take seriously and work towards consistently.

I’ve come to realise recently that I don’t often post much about me as a person and what I believe in. For my business, I feel this is important as your relationship will be with me.

I’m Emma, 35. Originally from Swindon, but moved to Bristol in 2020 during the height of lockdown. That was definetly an experience.

I live with my partner and we love to go hiking in Wales and I love to travel to different places and meet new people.

We also like to spend time with our friends and family, sometimes this involves travel up in the North of England, Swindon, Bath or London.

My hobbies are Sports, mainly football and boxing. My team is Arsenal, I’ve supported them since I was 14 after hoping a boy who I quite liked would like me back if I supported them and guess what it didn’t work 😂

What made me create my business? Well, I have been in the financial services industry since I was 16. Working at Zurich for 14 of those years, I learnt a lot and gained a lot of friends and contacts along the way.

I have since then worked for various different IFA firms in Bristol, Bath and Birmingham.

I just felt that often the admin role is so under appreciated within these big firms and when in those roles as an employee you don’t often get enough time or autonomy to make changes to make the experience for your clients better.

I’m very passionate about doing the best for the client and holding these providers accountable for their actions or inaction shall we say.

I’m determined to have every provider using Origo LOA process in the next few years to make it simpler for both you as the adviser and the client to receive a better service from them.
