💛 Rockinghorse Project Spotlight: Helping Make Hospital Visits Less Scary

As part of our continued support for Rockinghorse Children’s Charity, we’re highlighting another incredible project helping children across Sussex.

The AccuVein Visualisation Device at Worthing Hospital uses infrared technology to help medical teams locate veins more easily when taking blood from children.

For children who have difficult-to-find veins, a fear of needles, or require frequent blood tests, this can make a huge difference. The technology helps increase successful first-attempt blood tests, reducing pain, distress and anxiety for both children and their families.

It's a brilliant example of how specialist equipment can improve a child's hospital experience and help make difficult moments a little easier.

Last week, Noel and Max were delighted to represent Preston Insurance Brokers at the Brighton & Hove Business Show at the American Express Stadium.

With our stand in place for the day, it was a fantastic opportunity to meet business owners, catch up with existing clients, make new connections and hear from a range of inspiring speakers and exhibitors from across Sussex and beyond.

Events like these are a great reminder of the strength, diversity and ambition of our local business community, and it was brilliant to be part of such a well-attended and energetic event.

🎸 Save the Date – Saturday 29th August! 🎸

We're delighted to share that Noel Preston, and his band Planet Trousza will be performing a live outdoor gig at St Peters Cricket Club Clubhouse on Saturday 29th August.

Proudly sponsored by Preston Insurance Brokers, this promises to be a fantastic evening of live music, good company and community spirit following the day's cricket.

Everyone is welcome, there is no ticket charge. There may even be a BBQ on the go too! 🍔🍻

The music will start after cricket has finished for the day, creating the perfect way to round off a summer Saturday.

Last Friday, Noel and Aaron attended the Best of British Events Charity Lunch at The Grand Hotel Brighton, enjoying a fantastic afternoon in support of some great causes.

The guest speaker was Harry Redknapp, one of the UK's best-known football managers, whose career has spanned clubs including West Ham United, Portsmouth, Southampton and Tottenham Hotspur. Known for his entertaining stories and straight-talking style, Harry certainly kept the room engaged and entertained.

It was also a great opportunity to spend quality time with some of our valued clients and catch up with many familiar faces from across the Sussex business community.

A brilliant afternoon of networking, fundraising and good company.

🎉 What a year for the BRAVOS – Brighton Restaurant Awards!

We were incredibly proud to support this year’s campaign and sponsor the Best Team Award, celebrating the people who make Brighton and Sussex’s hospitality scene so special.
