We are a group of neighbours who care about Westdene Green, a beautiful green space in the suburbs of north Brighton, England. Friends of Westdene Green promotes and protects Westdene Green as a multi-purpose community space and brings people together through events and community action. At The Barn on The Green we aim to help build a more connected community by creating a focal point for a variety of enriching activities, social events and information and by engaging local people of all ages

We meet regularly to get to know one another better and discuss how we can help make life at Westdene Green even better for everyone. Friends of Westdene Green Ltd is a Charitable Company Reg No EW57741and Community Benefit Society registered with the Financial Conduct Authority under the Co-operative and Community Benefit Societies Act 2014.

What a fabulous turnout for Barn Fest 2026! Thank you to all our musicians, stallholders, food vendors, volunteers and organisers! Also a big thanks to everyone for turning up to support your local community - such an amazing vibe throughout the day. Can’t wait to see you next year for Barn Fest 2027!

Barn Fest day has arrived!!! The weather is looking pretty good- thankfully temperatures have dropped but it might also still be quite warm- remember to continue to enjoy it responsibly by staying hydrated and looking after the welfare of all kids and dogs too 💦
We look forward to seeing you there!!

Remember to bring cash, volunteer to help if you can, sign your dog up to the show, bring books for the book swap and come to enjoy all the stalls with pottery making, sewing, painting activities, and so much more!!!
