Miss T was delighted to share her experience after purchasing her beautiful thatched cottage.
As a first-time buyer, she initially had little knowledge of the mortgage process and relied on friends for guidance and recommendations—one of which led her to me.
After an initial call to understand her goals, I reviewed her documents, including company accounts, tax documents, bank statements, ID, and proof of deposit. I then advised her on borrowing capacity, rate options, and suitable products, and secured a Decision in Principle so she could begin viewing properties.
Although her first choice didn’t turn out to be the right fit—a common occurrence—she soon found her perfect home. We updated the application, and with rates having dropped, she also benefited from lower monthly payments.
Miss T is now the proud owner of her dream cottage, and I couldn’t be happier for her.
